ABOUT US

I was born in Brooklyn into a large Italian family of building tradesmen. During my teenage years, I did my apprenticeship in every aspect of construction including, foundations, framing, masonry, sheetrocking, painting, flooring, custom interior millwork, roofing, and siding.

In the late '70s, I became a carpenter's helper in Bridgehampton. After many years of hands-on experience, I was entrusted with the management of many high-end projects. In 1987 I branched out on my own, along with my wife, Annmarie who runs our office and the administrative side of our business, and founded Joseph R. LaFace Construction, Inc. Our son, JoJo, who is a retired NYPD Police Officer has also joined our company and is our project manager.

As President of LaFace Construction, Inc. I personally supervise and address, along with my son, JoJo every detail of a project to ensure its excellence. I think it is very important to maintain good communication with my clients from the beginning to the end of a project. My son and I roll up our sleeves many times and get our "hands dirty" to make sure the job is done right the first time, AND on budget.
